Sadullah Göncü was born in Istanbul and completed his high school education at Bakırköy Imam Hatip High School. He received the M.Sc. degree in transportation engineering from Yıldız Technical University and the Ph.D. degree in transportation engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 2019 and 2025, respectively. He is also a member of the ITU Intelligent Transportation Systems Research Laboratory.
Sadullah Göncü, who also worked in the private sector during his undergraduate education, has been a Research Assistant in the Civil Engineering Department at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University since 2017.
